Last month St Mary’s housekeeper, Gloria Gardiner, attended a Garden Party at Buckingham Palace in recognition for her work with the homeless community. She was accompanied by Fr Andrew, who held her coat and her glass when necessary and basked in the reflected glory (or should that be ‘Gloria’).
Joking aside, Gloria’s dedication to her work and to the people she serves and supports, is second to none and we are lucky to have her. We are glad that when the Pineapple Project building work is complete, she and her fellow volunteers will have more space and better facilities to support them in their mission.
