Late last month the Belgravia Awards took place at the Berkeley Hotel. Local resident Caroline Agar was joined by two awards nominees: St Mary’s very own Fr Andrew Walker was nominated as a Charitable Champion and Lucy Elphinstone, Headmistress at Francis Holland school, was nominated as a Local Hero. St Mary’s and Francis Holland School have close links, with school pupils using the church and basement spaces every week in term time, so it was lovely that Fr Walker and Ms Elphinstone could attend together at this beautifully presented and hosted event.
